چکیده
Abstract Coronary artery aneurysm is a rare disorder with prevalence in male population. The most commonly involved vessel the right coronary followed by anterior descending artery. frequent etiologies are atherosclerosis and Kawasaki disease. treatment of aneurysms significant stenosis often surgical, implantation covered stents case saccular aneurysms. In without stenosis, medical therapy suitable choice. Case report We present 68–year–old man history hypertension dyslipidemia, who arrived to our ED inferior STEMI. Left angiography showed 75% distal subocclusion first left marginal Right revealed severely ectatic (7–8 mm diameter) intraluminal thrombosis markedly slowed flow (TIMI 1). Considering regression symptoms ECG alterations, intracoronary bolus Tirofiban was performed i.v. infusion 24 hours association DAPT. Blood tests did not detect any relevant alterations coagulation profile but only an heterozygous mutation for MTHFR slightly altered homocysteine values. Six days later, second which confirmed persistence thrombotic formation into that treated rheolytic thromboaspiration TIMI 2 final flow. consideration angiographic findings, it decided implant stents. After multidisciplinary team discussion associate DAPT oral anticoagulant (Warfarin 5 mg, INR 2–3) patient discharged indication continue triple antithrombotic 6 months double ASA Warfarin. Conclusions context ACS caused endovascular thrombosis. Thrombolytic therapy, anticoagulation valid tools successful such cases.

Successful endovascular coiling of a ruptured internal iliac artery aneurysm: a case report
Ruptured internal iliac artery aneurysms (IIAA) are extremely rare, and the repair can be challenging. This case reports described an 83-year-old patient who presented at our Emergency Department with acute abdominal pain based on a ruptured IIAA. He refused open repair and only wanted to be treated as minimally invasive as possible. Therefore endovascular embolization of the IIAA was performed...
متن کاملRight coronary artery aneurysm.
Coronary artery aneurysms, characterized by abnormal dilatations of a localized portion of the coronary artery, are an uncommon finding during angiography. We present a case where a giant right coronary aneurysm was detected during angiography, in a patient admitted with a inferior wall myocardial infarction.
متن کاملRight coronary artery fistula to left ventricle complicated with huge coronary artery aneurysm.
Congenital coronary artery fistula (CAF) with huge coronary artery aneurysm is a very rare condition. In this paper, we describe a 26-year-old asymptomatic male patient with right coronary artery (RCA) to the left ventricle fistula with a huge coronary artery aneurysm which was diagnosed by multidetector computed tomography and coronary angiography. The patient received surgical treatment for c...
متن کاملPersistent sciatic artery complicated by aneurysm formation and thrombosis.
A persistent sciatic artery is a rare embryological anomaly. We report a case of a persistent sciatic artery with aneurysm formation and thrombosis in a patient with rheumatoid arthritis/systemic lupus erythematosus overlap syndrome and Raynaud's phenomenon. The diagnosis and complete, accurate evaluation of the arterial anatomy of the lower limb were achieved using computed tomographic angiogr...
متن کاملBilateral coronary artery fistulas with a giant coronary aneurysm complicated by aneurysm rupture
RATIONALE Coronary artery aneurysms and fistulas are not rare conditions in clinical practice, but bilateral fistulas with a giant coronary aneurysm in just one person are quite rare. PATIENT CONCERNS We report a case of a 66-year-old woman with these 2 coronary abnormalities accompanied with a huge mediastinum mass. INTERVENTIONS The giant aneurysm was ligated and the mass was resected whi...
